This results in a police clamp down on all costumed villains and vigilantes, and the police arrest anyone they can find. When they come for Kick-Ass, his father takes responsibility and is put in jail. The Mother Fucker has him killed and sends a photograph to Dave. The other members of Justice Forever attend the funeral in sympathy with Dave, but the funeral is interrupted and Dave is kidnapped. Hit-Girl pursues and takes down a van of criminals. The Mother Fucker is waiting at his base and wondering why his gang have not yet returned. Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl arrive in full costume, and with all their hero friends as backup and the two gangs have a final showdown, with Kick-Ass chasing the Mother Fucker, and Hit-Girl battling Mother Russia.

Low level marijuana drug dealer David Clark (Jason Sudeikis) is robbed of his money and stash, some of which he owes to his supplier. His boss, wealthy drug lord Brad Gurdlinger (Ed Helms) forces Clark to smuggle marijuana from Mexico in order to clear his debt. Realizing that one man attempting to get through customs is too suspicious, he hires a stripper named Rose (Jennifer Aniston), a runaway teenage girl named Casey (Emma Roberts), and his virgin 18 year-old neighbor Kenny (Will Poulter) to pose as a bogus family called the "Millers," so as not to arouse suspicion while crossing the border.
The Millers make the drive across the border in an enormous RV in order to hide the drugs. David picks up the marijuana using the name Pablo Chacon, the name given to him by Gurdlinger. Shortly after the Millers leave the compound, the real Pablo Chacon (Tomer Sisley), a high-powered Mexican drug lord, returns with the American that was supposed to be smuggling the drugs across the border and finds that it has already been taken.
Returning to the border, the Millers attempt to look like an ordinary family but are stopped when a drug sniffing dog barks at their RV. They are pulled to the side and as their RV is about to be inspected, four illegals scramble out from under the RV and the officers take off after them, allowing the Millers to leave.
Because of the extra load of the marijuana on the RV, one of the radiator hoses breaks while going up a steep incline. A family they had encountered at the border called the Fitzgeralds, consisting of Don (Nick Offerman), Edie (Kathryn Hahn), and Melissa (Molly C. Quinn), catch up to them and tow the Millers' RV to a repair shop. On the trip to the shop, David learns that Don Fitzgerald is a DEA agent after discovering his badge and gun in the glove compartment.
The next day, when the Millers head to the shop to pick up the RV, Chacon and his henchman One Eye (Matthew Willig) are waiting for them and prepare to execute the family. They immediately tell Chacon that they aren't a real family and that they didn't know they were stealing from him. Rose is given a chance to prove that she is a stripper by dancing, and when she gets close, turns a steam vent onto Chacon. The Millers then escape in the RV, with Kenny behind the wheel. Due to Kenny's erratic driving, the RV veers off the highway and a tarantula, hiding in a bowl of fruit given to them when they picked up the marijuana, crawls up Kenny's leg and bites his testicle.
